3rd Winter Young People's Gathering
We believe the Lord would have us gather again this year over the New Year’s weekend. The past two years, we were encouraged to “get in” or “remain in” the race. To be a generation with a heart after God’s heart, those who are strong and courageous who by faith are walking in all the Lord has revealed. As we continue in our pursuit, we sense the Lord desires to equip us for the days ahead. To that end, we believe this year the Lord would have us consider together the importance of evangelism.

EXERCISE
“But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers…” (James 1:22)
We believe the Lord’s desire extends beyond a once a year gathering. Rather that these times would encourage us to pursue together throughout the year. With this year’s theme, the Lord placed on our hearts the importance of being exercised in sharing the gospel as a way of preparation. With that in view, we would like to encourage everyone to consider attending or watching the Evangelism Basics series outlined below and as the Lord shares his heart with us responding to the light given.

- In an effort to allow as many brothers and sisters as possible to attend, in addition to housing attendees in the homes of local brothers and sisters we will be reserving a block of rooms at a nearby hotel. To cover this and other similar expenses there will be a $50 fee per adult. Starting the year at the WYPG focused on the Lord and what is on His heart has been a great encouragement for me. The fellowship with others who also want to be equipped to serve Him in these last days is a precious thing that helps me in my walk with the Lord.

The winter young people's gathering was a very encouraging time for me. I was able to learn, fellowship, and grow with people i don't normally get to. It was a time where I got to know my brothers and sisters in a deeper way and grow in faith with them, regardless of if I had grown up with them, or if they were from across the country.
